On Sunday, August 31st, we moved to the beautiful St. Vincent de Paul Church in Mission Hills where Sunday Divine Liturgy will be held weekly at 12:00 p.m. noon.
After a warm welcome address by the pastor Fr. Alex de Paulis, Divine Liturgy began with a good friend of our parish, Fr. Liubomyr Fylypchak.
Fr. Liubomyr serves as pastor for the Ukrainian Catholic community in Dubai, UAE and is active throughout the area, including Qatar. He is a relative of long-term parishioner and benefactor, Dr. Alex Berest, DDS and visits San Diego yearly.
After 7 wonderful years at St. Augustine, we quickly found refuge at St. Vincent de Paul. We will graciously meet there weekly until we complete building our new church.
Our own Fr. Yurii Sas celebrates Roman Catholic Mass at St. Vincent’s every Tuesday at 7:00 a.m.
Glory to God for all things! Слава Богу за все!
